You help educate patients and assist providers during medical and cosmetic procedures while demonstrating consistent adherence to the practice's standards and procedures.
You have at least a high school diploma or equivalent.
Certified Medical Assistant preferred.
At least one year of Dermatology and/or Cosmetic Surgery experience preferred, in addition, you have EMR experience; preferably Nextech or comparable software.
CPR / BLS & Bloodborne Pathogen Certification also preferred.
You have basic typing, computer, English, and mathematical skills and an appropriate sense of discretion in dealing with varied and difficult situations.
You have an understanding of compliance with all HIPPPA Regulations; are able to communicate effectively with providers, patients, co-workers, and vendors; are able to work as a collaborative team member; able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and excels under pressure; are empathetic with patients' needs and concerns, and attentive to detail; and, able to convey a positive, professional attitude in all dealings with others.
Your schedule will be Mondays to Fridays, typically 9:
00 AM to 5:
00 PM.
Some days Clinic starts at 8:
00 AM or end at 6:
00 PM.
Rotating HALF days on Saturdays - 9:
00 AM to 1:
00 PM.
You may be asked to provide coverage at Millennium Park location.
Travel reimbursement is provided.
Clinical dress code is black scrubs! We are VitalSkin Dermatology, a growing dermatology company with several locations in and around the City of Chicago including our newest Bourbonnais location.
We have MA openings at our Millennium Park and Streeterville locations as well.
