The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in caring for a wide array of wounds.
The Wound Care Nurse will:
Be responsible for the overall treatment of all residents that have wound care related issues, ranging from Stages 1-4 and ensuring that wounds are healing in a timely manner Maintain and perform all dressing changes for each particular resident Perform all assessments related to the wound care process and determine which clinical interventions are needed Make sure that all Doctor's orders are being carried out Work directly with the DON and ADON as well as other members of the Nursing Department, as new wounds emerge to both existing residents and new admissions REQUIREMENTS:
Must be either a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse Must have at least one year experience as a Wound Care Nurse in a Skilled Nursing Facility #HP Job Type:
